MHFA Workplace Online (MHFA-O)

MHFA is a global program with over 8million certified was inspired by the successful physical first aid model. Developed in 2000, the curriculum is regularly updated to ensure it draws upon the latest research data and evidence.

Gain a better understanding of mental health issues and the effect they can have on both individuals and your business with Mental Health First Aid training. Learn how to help people who are struggling with their mental or emotional state by implementing positive changes. 

This is an Online course made up of self-paced eLearning followed by a facilitated video workshop.

  • Self paced eLearning (5-7 hours)

  • Interactive and engaging eLearning on the MHFA accreditation learning platform. 5 Modules and resources that you can go back to at any time.

  • The e-Learning must be completed in order to attend the online facilitation.

 

  • Online workshop (2 x 3 hours sessions)

  • You will be emailed a meeting link for your workshop sessions

  • Two x 3 hour sessions with an qualified Mental Health First Aid Facilitator

  • It is an interactive workshop with a breakouts, breaks, polls and practice conversations

  • Normally 9am-12 and 1-4pm but can be flexible for a corporate booking (ie over 2 days or differing times)

  •  Mental Health First Aid materials

  • The current Mental Health First Aid manual will be sent to you

  • Mental Health First Aider accreditation 

  • Once you have completed both the eLearning and the video workshop you will be able to take a short online exam to become an accredited Mental Health First Aider There is no additional cost for this

  • $460 per person + GST

  • Note - due to learning requirements (there must be a minimum of 4 people booked for this workshop to take place, otherwise you will be reschedule to the next available workshop date).
